Review by Javier Sulé

Happy Anniversary by Little River Band is a delightful album that showcases the band's ability to create timeless and catchy tunes. The album, released in 1976, features some of their most popular songs, including "Happy Anniversary," "Reminiscing," and "Lady."

The album's opener, "It's A Long Way There," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its upbeat and energetic melody. The song's catchy chorus and memorable guitar riffs make it a classic Little River Band track.

"Happy Anniversary," the album's title track, is a beautiful ballad that showcases the band's softer side. The song's soulful vocals and gentle piano melody make it a perfect wedding song.

"Reminiscing" is perhaps the album's most well-known track, and for good reason. The song's nostalgic lyrics and catchy melody make it an instant classic. The band's harmonies are particularly impressive on this track, making it a standout on the album.

Other highlights on the album include "Shut Down, Turn Off," a high-energy rock track, and "The Man in Black," a funky tune with a groovy bassline.

This is sublime!!! I saw them live at a small club in San Antonio Texas once in the mid 90s. An incredible right bad, so professional yet the greeted us in the parking lot, outside of their tour bus. Glenn Shorrock signed a CD of their greatest hits and was incredibly gracious and friendly! I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the LRB!!!!

I've seen The fake LRB a few times in concert ( no original members) they do a decent job but not the same as the Glenn Beeb and the original founders.

Ahhh… back when bands required members to be musicians… who could play actual instruments, sing without auto tune and write songs. Now ZERO of those skills are part of the criterion
